Hello, my name is Dino Delellis and this is the first article in my health blog. In this blog, I will be covering health topics as diverse as Beauty, Alternative therapies, Alternative Medicines and Fitness.

More Canadians and North Americans are overweight than ever before and the propensity in the direction of obesity appears to start from childhood. With so many fast food outlets pushing meats that have been forced to grow faster with additives such as growth hormone and liberal antibiotic regimes, its not a wonder that our kids are starting off life significantly heavier than their forefathers.

The presence of preservatives and their nitrate laden ingredients also don’t help the situation.

Daily we read of on going problems with what were thought to be safe chemicals like Bisphenol-A. Bisphenol-A is really a plastic and a petroleum byproduct that was thought to be fairly benign to humans until just recently. It has now been banned in baby bottles in Canada and further research is showing that it may also be harmful to adults too.

So, this blog will cover some of those topics in some detail. Thanks.
