by Nate Rifkin

Here’s 5 things successful goal-setters do that can help you finally get in shape this year:

1. Keep your goals to yourself.

You don’t want other people who aren’t as committed to their health to bring you down with their negative energy. If the wrong person finds out you want to lose a few inches from your waist or exercise every day, this could happen. Don’t let it.

2.Figure out WHY you want to accomplish your goal.

If you want to drop 20 extra pounds, think about why. And dont think this is obvious stuff either. What you need to know is what personally motivates you and gets you emotionally involved. Is it because you want to look better? Have more energy? Attract a new mate? Re-attract and old one? Figure it out.

3. Remind yourself of this reason when you lose motivation.

Whenever you start slacking off after a few weeks or you just don’t feel like putting the effort in anymore, recall your reason for making this goal. Set your sights on that and you can find the power to keep moving forward.

4. Don’t do this alone.

Your habits reflect the habits of those around you. Getting around healthy people will make achieving your goals easier. Being around unhealthy people gets you up for failure.

5. If you screw up, don’t worry about it.

If you don’t exercise as consistently for a few days, relax. If you eat a few too many cheat meals, don’t worry. Feeling bad won’t do any good. Just keep moving forward and you’ll be all the better for it.

If you take advantage of these five secrets, 2009 WILL be the year you achieve the body of your dreams.

When you are looking for a muscle building program, you will find that the one that is offered by Vince Delmonte will include a cardio portion of the program. It is not meant for those who are very thin in the first four weeks. Of course, the program can be implemented in the final parts of the program for those who are looking for mass building workouts. The cardio that is included in this program is not just about fat reduction, but also for building the kind of body that you want.

Healthy eating is a big part of the program and you will receive access to a calorie calculator that will help you no matter which phase of the program you are in. If you are looking to cut calories, maintain, or gain weight, the calorie calculator will work for you.

Vince has made things quite simple for you, with an online calculator you can put in the details in this format- Maintenance- Cutting- Progressive Weight Gain-Advanced weight gain, and you will get the result. Vince agrees that it is not easy to diet and gain weight, but he has proper workout methods to facilitate your body. Vince’s 10 No Non-Sense Nutritional Rules for Muscle Gain will keep you posted on the required amount of nutrition for the body and how to gain it. This makes things even easier.

Vince contends that supplements are the worst thing that you can do for your efforts. He believes that using the drugs that are on the market will not give you the benefits that are claimed in the advertising. He has given some great information on the use of these supplements and their effect on the body. There is information on the benefits of nutritionally dense shakes that will give you some tremendous benefits to your muscle building routine.

These are add-ons and you will love it. Vince enables a 3 months personal training through email. This is very beneficial. The 52-week Intensive Workout plan, as mentioned above is a great help. The Empowered Nutrition 84 Day Meal plans helps you maintain you diet. This includes a 12 weeks diet plan of 5 calorie each, with levels of 2 to 6K.

The muscle stimulator part of the program will give you all of the exercises that will work for your body in great detail. You will have illustrations that will show you exactly how to perform the exercises to get the best results. Learning the unforgivable sins that Vince claims many bodybuilders fall victim to in their efforts.

The program offers many upgrades that will add to your muscle building program. The bonuses that you will get with the upgraded program are as follows.

1. You will find a program to help you to rid the fat in your diet.

2. Meal plans for vegetarians among all of the different caloric levels.

3. The program comes in an audio format for those who prefer this method over reading the guides and books.

4. The best of the program includes an email consultation with Vince. You will receive real answers to your questions about the program from the person who created it.

Any complaints?

The book is a bit disorganized, but this is mostly due to the uniqueness of the program. The exercises that are in the program can be a little complicated for beginners. You will have a program that works to explain everything in great detail, however. There is an opportunity to ask about these difficulties and get some real answers to your problems. Even though it may be difficult for a beginner the program is an effective way to get some results.

The program gives you information on everything from your weight training exercises and diet. There is plenty of information about the No Nonsense Muscle Building program that you can find to help you make your decision about purchasing this program.

by Westy

When you look at this program, you will discover that Jeff will show you seven anabolic factors and shows you the use of hyper adaptive process and seven factors that make and maintain an anabolic environment. If you are already familiar with this process, you will understand what Jeff is trying to show you.

Dieting section: It is detailed and helps you designed to achieve your primary goals be it gain muscle weight, burn fat or improve on all areas. Exercise section: There is a lot to choose from. If you get bored of doing the same thing repeatedly, you find a lot of variety to help you keep at your workout.

Once you’ve finished the book, plateaus will be only a memory. In the “The Workout” book Jeff takes you through a 24 week Optimum Anabolics program. It also has a workout log for each day which you can print. One of the other features is a year’s membership to the Muscle Nerd University which is an online forum, featuring stuff like training videos, exercise videos and other stuff. Also included is a monthly training session that’s shown live to members only. The uniqueness of it is that it talks on a particular subject and then fields questions from members.

These live sessions are a welcome break from the reading that is required with the program.

There is a great feature that will allow you to search the database for any question that you might have for the program. If you still can’t find the answers to your question, you can ask in the training sessions.

There is some tracking software included in the program that will help you to see the progress that you are making. You will also learn how to determine your body fat using only a tape measure. There is more information on the use of calipers for determining your body fat.

There are some programs that are designed to focus on specific parts of the body. This will help you to target some of the areas that you are having problems with. In the past you only had one month of access to the member’s area. This has been increased to a full year. There should be a forum for members only to help with the intensive concepts and the unique training methods that are used.

Even though this is a very complex program, you will find it relatively simple to understand with this program. The well organized book certainly helps in this regard. There are some very complex ideas that are put forth and you need a book that treats the subject with organization and detail. There is a lot of research that has gone into the creation of this program and you will be able to understand everything contained very well.

The main ingredient of it is cycling which manipulates the body’s defence mechanisms to discover muscle growth. Jeff shows you how to use this program’s interesting approach to cycling to help bring you constant growth.

You will have to be very committed to the program for the results to take effect. You should be prepared for hard work and dedication to the principles that are contained in the program material. It is designed to be used by those who are looking for an intermediate or advanced program for their workout. It will give you results that go beyond your wildest expectations if you use the program wisely. It is complex, but the program will give you some great results and a step to the next phase of your bodybuilding routine.

Proteins are consisted of amino acids. When you consume proteins (in the form of meat or other foods), your stomach and digestive system breaks them down into single, pairs, or triples of amino acids before they enter your bloodstream. When they’re in your bloodstream, amino acids are used by your organs and muscles for repair. For example, the enzyme hexokinase, is made of hundreds of amino acids, as an enzyme is a type of protein. Muscles are primarily made of protein and water. How does weight lifting build muscle? Well, it first damages muscles and fosters a response in your body that causes hormones to lead toward muscle growth. Thus, your body and muscles need a decent amount of amino acids: to repair and replace any damaged proteins, and to build new ones, causing muscle growth.

As we mentioned before, weight lifting causes reaction due to hormones that lead to muscle growth. In simpler terms, when you train, your body enters a mode to prepare for building muscle. This mode is called anabolism, an anabolic state.
However, researchers have discovered that you don’t enter this muscle building anabolic state until you eat. That is, if you lift weights and don’t eat, you’re not building muscle. If fact, you’re actually losing muscle, since weigh-lifting sessions damaged your muscles.Muscles don’t grow when you train them, they grow in recovery between session, as they feed on protein and energy.

I originally thought this answer would be very simple, after 100 hours worth of research on this topic while I was getting my bachelor degree in exercise sciences. Everything I read after these classes seemed like gibberish until I read Lyle MacDonald’s The Protein Book. I pre-ordered a copy of this book and was not disappointed, as I was overwhelmed by the uniqueness of his ideas and presentation with practical applications.

Having read the book, I can tell you the short answer is 1.2 grams per pound of body weight.
A man who weighs 180 pounds needs to eat 216 grams of protein every day (1.2 grams x 180 lbs = 216 grams) if he wants to maximize his muscle growth.

Your muscles build with the proteins they need from amino acids you have consumed. If you consume large amounts of protein, you maximize your muscle growth by supplying your muscles with plenty of material to build. So, the question is, how much protein exactly should we consume?

As we’ve seen, weight lifting fosters a hormonal response that favors muscle growth. Simply put, when you train, your body enters a muscle-building state. That state is called anabolism; it’s an anabolic state.

Researchers have shown, however, that the body doesn’t enter the muscle-building (anabolic) state until you eat. That’s right. If you lift weights and don’t eat, you’re not building muscle. You’re actually losing some, as the weightlifting session damaged your muscles.

Since your body only digests food 30 after you’ve eaten it, it’s a good idea to have a pre-workout meal about half an hour before you begin to train. Digestion will slow when you are training and many lifters have some discomfort when eat food during the workout. I recommend you drink you protein and energy instead to prevent this.

Pre-Workout:
0.2 grams of carbohydrate per pound of body weight;
0.2 grams of protein per pound of body weight.
During Workout:
30 grams of carbohydrate ; 15 grams of protein.
Post-Workout:
0.4 grams of carbohydrate per pound of body weight;
0.2 grams of protein per pound of body weight.

Marc narrates his real life story of how he invested 16 vital years of his life in this business, but he couldn’t get it right. Finally, he had hi mission accomplished in 90 days, something that he could not do in those years (read the article Bodybuilding Beginner for 16 Years?). That was the very beginning of his No Bull Bodybuilding career and Marc is quite sure that most of the readers have had such experiences in the past. It’s all due to lack of the basics and also due to incorrect approach.

A question ariseshow long will it take for you to stop wasting time and start gathering ample knowledge? It’s all about learning and getting it straight into your brains, the sooner you do that the better for you. It might take a coupe of hours for you to produce amazing results, but for some others; it’s a matter of lifetime. The choice is yours, Marc can just help you.

The program offers a great approach to those who are just starting out with bodybuilding. There is also a guide for those who are bodybuilding for competition. And of course, you can’t forget those bodybuilders who are over forty who are just starting out.

One of the best parts of the book and program is the focus on nutrition and your dietary needs. You will learn all of the good habits that you should have as well as the right caloric intake daily to make your bodybuilding efforts pay off. There are other sections on fat loss as well as how to build lean muscle. The specific plan for your dietary needs are included with the book no matter if you are looking for a low cholesterol approach or are a vegetarian. Grocery shopping is made easy with Marc’s grocery list.

You can also update to “Deluxe Edition” of the book, the option is available on the order page. This earns you 10$ discount on your purchase and also allows access to Live membership of Marc’s Uncensored bodybuilding at $7.95 a month. This is your way to a huge database consisting of bodybuilding audio. Along with this deluxe edition, you get access to Marc’s Shredded Abs, a guide to the 6-pack.

There are some sections of the book that are slightly disorganized, but overall it is a valuable resource. It will be necessary for you to go through the entire book to find the clear picture of the program. You might find that the sample programs are a little bit difficult for a beginner and the inclusion of a message board would have helped the program.

No-Bull Bodybuilding is truly a foundation for the beginners, it has the best resources. And as Marc has been a victim of the wrongs, he intends to project that to the buyers. It is the smartest way of learning and developing your physique.

There are so many resources available to the beginning bodybuilder that it might be difficult to choose the right one. Marc is a great choice for those who are looking for a program that is based on real experience with what can go wrong with bodybuilding.
